Ten Commandments of Math

I swore I would just relax this weekend since this is the "last" real weekend before I have to go back to work. Where the heck did the time go?!? Anyhow, since school is the only thing on my mind, I figured I should just give in.

A while ago, I found this pin on pinterest and thought that I just HAD to have this in my classrooom. However, I wanted it the size of a poster and not in my own handwriting. I was about to settle in for the night with my cricut when my friend, Melanie, sent me a link of her poster and told me to read this blog. Within 10 minutes I was rocking and rolling. The website, picmonkey.com, is SO easy to use. After about 30 minutes total, I had this masterpiece to call my own!

  1. Wish I had had this for my classroom when I was teaching middle school math...I would like to share on Facebook. Is that ok with you?

  2. Sure! My students sure do get a kick out of it since it is the main focal point in the room!

  4. Do you have a version that isn't with a black background? I would love to print this out for my classroom.

    1. Actually, I don't. The program I used only allows you to save your work as a JPEG so I can't edit it. Sorry! You could just print the one I have at a printing center to avoid using all of your ink at home...it's definitely cheaper in the long run.

  5. Hey Danielle! I was wondering if there was any way you could send me this and let me know where you went to print it and what size you printed it in? I love the colors and how bright and attractive it is! I am a first year teacher teaching 7th grade math and I know that my students would love it!

    1. Nevermind, I was searching Teachers Pay Teachers and downloaded it from there. Thank you so much for sharing this! Now I am just trying to find the best way to print it in a large size that will print out clear.
